Why?
So I read in the Star Tribune this morning about the average wedding now costing around $25,000. Why the hell would any sane person spend that much money on a one day affair? Average length of marriage - 4 years. They'll still be paying off the debt long after the divorce is final. People mortgage their houses, ask their parents to kick in 10-20 grand, charge everything on their credit cards or other ridiculous moves to finance their wedding. I don't get it. And this is of course, why I am not having a wedding.More in money - It's pay day (I think) and I am being forced out of the office early today. I ask you, how often does your company kick you out early?
