Not Dead Yet
Sorry for the long time between postings. I don't have a computer in my hotel and I didn't have access to my work computer until Thursday. They monitor internet usage a lot so I didn't want to log on there my first week.I have a new cell phone that I'm trying out. Next week I'll try something else. Eventually I'll settle on something.
My life is really not very interesting right now. I'm still trying to get over the fact that I've only driven 5 miles since Saturday. I'm also trying to get used to the idea of going home for lunch. I have never had a job where I would go back home for food and relaxation. Also, the part where I leave for work at 7:58 and get there at 8 has a lot of appeal.
I have not yet started looking for a place to live. Apparently, it's really hard to find somewhere in the valley. I did manage to get the entire neighborhood in Nimrod to work on a plan for storing my stuff once I close on the house. One neighbor will drive, one's supplying the truck and another is supplying the trailer. My mom's really excited to have a semi-trailer parked in her yard for the foreseeable future.
And this is quite the boring entry, but I didn't want anyone to think I'd died or something. Oh and the bastards let me watch FSN North, but black out the Twins games. I hate them. I do, however, get to watch the pregame and I "watch" the games on my cell phone's internet.
