Cool, Clear Water

Yeah, so the runoff? She has begun. And as such there is water everywhere except in the homes of the entire Bridger Valley. Now most offices would close in the event of no water. My office calls down the street and orders up a bunch of Biffys. Nice.

The water is relatively infrequent in that sometimes I'll have just enough to take a drip shower, but it's dirty and it smells. And sometimes there is no water at all.

I have filled every possible water container in my house so that I will be able to flush the toilet for the next few days. And there are trucks with potable water for any and all who want it. Gracie is drinking bottled water.

Water for drinking or cooking must be boiled until further notice and I'm not supposed to wash my dishes with it either. And since the runoff is going to get ever larger due to the vast amounts of snow, I expect I'll be without decent water for the next week or two.

Oh and it's been snowing all day and this is supposed to continue all through the weekend until Tuesday. Life has gone to hell in a handbasket.
