None of the Above

Yesterday, I went to the polls, walked into the booth and honestly could not decide who to vote for. In fact, I skipped the presidential part and filled in the rest before returning to the president again. Now I live in a state that was polling at +22 McCain so I knew it didn't matter what I did with my vote. In the end, I voted my conscience and went with none of the above. It felt good.

In other news, I signed an agreement to consult for a travel website. It pays well, I can work the hours I want and all from the comfort of my own home (it's part time so no, I didn't quit my regular job). Anyway, it occurred to me today that since I now have a home office and require a computer and internet connection to do my job, I can buy a new laptop to replace my crap computer and write it off. Home offices are cool. The only headache is that I have to estimate and pay taxes quarterly.
