Here Comes the Sun
Yesterday Gracie and I went for a walk. Having learned from past experiences, we walked into the wind on the way out. This considerably shortened the walk. The wind was blowing so strong and so cold I could barely see through the tears in my eyes. When we got home I grabbed a book and we sat out on the deck. The air temperature was so cold I could see my breath, yet I was perfectly comfortable if not a bit hot sitting out there for a couple of hours. It's an odd feeling knowing it's cold out and yet not feeling it a bit. The high topped out yesterday at 42 degrees. Today it was a delightful 51 but the wind was still too strong to walk much further. I just had a bit more motivation after having eaten an excellent ham dinner.
