Viva Las Vegas
I was reading the other day that the Vegas casinos are suffering and so are offering some really cheap deals on even the best places. I decided to take a look since I had forgotten I'm going there in December. The average nightly rate in my favorite hotel was $75. I booked it as well as my flight. Airline ticket? $118. My trip planning is now complete. Total cost of long weekend in Vegas - $250. Nice.If you've contemplated a trip to Vegas in the near future, now is the time to go. As I was booking, a friend called. Said friend won't come here because she might be attacked by "Mountain People" Deliverance style, so we talked about meeting up in Vegas which apparently has no freaks. Clearly, she's not been there. Anyway, we're thinking sometime this fall. Who doesn't love a quick weekend in Vegas? I'd go just to sit on a bench and people watch.
