Three Weeks Have Passed
And nothing interesting has happened. I closed on my house but am still living in the cabin. I'm moving out this weekend to save some money. The moving company is completely booked out for the next three weeks and since there is only one of them in a 100 mile radius, I'm stuck using them. I have a couple of other leads but so far, I'm thinking my furniture won't get here until well after the new carpet is in.A month of living in a house with only an air mattress and a lawn chair for furniture is not particularly appealing.
In other news, I have spent the last two weeks preparing to paint. After hours and hours and hours and hours of work, I am now finally ready to actually apply color to a couple of the bedrooms. We'll see how the motivation goes this weekend. Maybe I'll finish two rooms.
I've also managed to talk my dad into coming out and providing free labor for the other miscellaneous tasks I have decided need to be done. I'm all about spending money right now.
I'd also like to tell everyone not to visit Utah. It's not a nice place to go. I say avoid it at all costs.
